Māori Mandala
Tāmaki Herenga Waka Festival2019 / Storybox
These mandala were designed as explorations into how we could represent the rich culture of Māori in a modern way. They draw inspiration from Māori myths and legends as well as traditional kowhaiwhai patterns. These designs were created for the Tāmaki Herenga Waka Festival.
